Trip Overview
The definitive North Bengal experience. This extended journey takes you from the rolling tea estates of Kurseong to the high-altitude vibrancy of Darjeeling, culminating in the serene, orchid-filled town of Kalimpong.
Day 1 Arrival & Kurseong Retreat
Arrive at Bagdogra. Transfer to Kurseong and check into a luxury tea estate. Enjoy the quiet mountain breeze and a relaxing evening.
Day 2 Train to Darjeeling
Board the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway for a scenic, historic ride up to the Queen of Hills. Check-in and spend the evening shopping at the local markets.
Day 3 Darjeeling Discovery
Early morning Tiger Hill sunrise tour. After breakfast, visit the sprawling tea gardens, Japanese Temple, and the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute.
Day 4 Journey to Kalimpong via Lamahatta
Drive to Kalimpong. En route, stop at the beautiful Lamahatta Eco Park to stroll through ancient pine forests and manicured gardens. Arrive in Kalimpong by afternoon.
Day 5 Kalimpong Sightseeing
Explore the best of Kalimpong. Visit Deolo Hill for paragliding and panoramic views, the Zang Dhok Palri Phodang monastery, and the famous Pine View Cactus Nursery.
Day 6 Excursion to Lava & Rishyap
Take a day trip to the pristine hamlets of Lava and Rishyap. Walk through dense, misty forests and visit the majestic Lava Monastery.
Day 7 Departure
After a week of mountain luxury, your private chauffeur will transfer you back to Bagdogra Airport for your journey home.
